Once again we came here for the brunch happy hour, but their deals on the regular menu were too good to pass up. I personally had the $11.99 make your own lunch combo (egg salad sandwich, Caesar salad, and pickled cucumber), with $6 mimosa on the side. For under $20 I got all of that and by the time I finished my drink, salad and cucumbers I was pretty full. Their pickled cucumbers are amazing, first time having them. Such a refreshing cucumber salad, not at all like actual pickles. Will be frequenting more often during the weekends. (Also their egg salad sandwich, and deviled eggs are so good, highly recommend.)

This Lazy Dog location has the friendliest and most attentive staff. I like bringing my pup here when we are in the area and their service has always been memorable. On our last visit, our waitress recommended the smoked trout dip with house-made chips seasoned with everything but the bagel seasoning. It was delicious! Creamy, salty, smokey and the pickled red onions brought it together. Their sauce caddy also has a sirarcha adjacent sauce and it really hit the spot when added to my bison meatloaf. Doggies can also get their own bowls with meat patties with white or brown rice and veggies to enjoy on their large patio.

Wife chose lazydog for lunch when we were shopping nearby. Not too crowded for lunch. Service was a bit slow. We chose to have lunch inside the restaurant at a nice booth. Seats in booth were well worn and we sunk down quite a bit. Wife ordered a cheeseburger. The burger was burnt and black, cheese wasn't melted..fries she said were just OK. She ate a few bites then said it wasn't edible. My shrimp tacos were mostly lettuce tacos with only 3 shrimp pieces. Tortillas were very hard and again overcooked. The rice was burnt and had burnt charred pieces throughout-probably bottom of the pan. Black beans were cold and few. The best item was the molten brownie which was served hot with vanilla ice cream. That was the only item that was edible. Atmosphere was ok. My wife mentioned she was very disappointed and not interested in returning. They do have an outdoor patio where you can sit with your dog and have a meal. We won't be returning as my wife hated the food. For the price and selection we are going elsewhere. Food has seriously declined.

We were driving through Oxnard and came upon The Collection. Looking for lunch, we found Lazy Dog Restaurant. We walked in and we're promptly seated at a booth. The inside of the restaurant is very comfortable and inviting. We started with the French onion puff pastries with a jus. They were wonderful! They were light airy and the onion was not overpowering, it melted in your mouth. My wife got the pot roast meal and it was very good. I ordered the Asian chicken wrap and really enjoyed The subtle flavors, when wrapped into the lettuce and adding the dipping sauce, it popped! Very good, light combination of flavors. I had a bloody Mary and it was pretty good too. We would be very happy to go back to that restaurant and experience the patio and the bar area. Inside is quite nice and well decorated. If you're in the area definitely give this one a try!

I really love coming to Lazy Dog, itโ€™s one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere is always relaxed and cozy, perfect for spending time with family or just enjoying a nice meal. My favorite dishes are the ginger soy salmon, which is always flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the fries โ€” they are honestly so good and crispy every time. I also really enjoy their tortilla soup, it has a great homemade taste, and the quesadilla is delicious too. One thing I really love about this place is that they have a space for people who want to bring their dogs, and even offer a menu for them. It makes the experience even more special if you want to go out with your pet. The service is usually friendly, although it can sometimes depend on the server, but overall Iโ€™ve had good experiences here. Everything Iโ€™ve tried has been consistently good, and you can really tell they put care into their food. Itโ€™s definitely a place I keep coming back to. Highly recommend if youโ€™re looking for good food and a comfortable, pet-friendly atmosphere.
